Any way to force game shortcut to launch game in Mantle mode?
Currently it always launches the game in DX11 mode.
Starting the game from mantle exe file also launches DX11 file.
Only way to launch Mantle mode, by the book, it to open Steam UI and click Play button, which will open the launcher to choose to mode.
The only "workaround" I was able to figure out was to backup DX11 game exe and then put copy of Mantle exe in its place. Really weird that I was forced to do something like this.
Maybe it has something to do with that I use laptop (Core i5-3210M with 7730M Radeon)? Maybe desktop launch of the game incorrectly thinks that my graphics card does not support Mantle, since Core i5 has its own integrated graphics which does not support mantle.
But anyway, at least I have workaround, so it may be helpful to other people.
