Spotted light pink borders. A game plan of expanding towards the Mongols while harassing/blocking French settler pairs with warriors occured to me (let me know if y'all'd rather not have the blocking -- I'm not even close to setting it up, but will begin that type of movement next time if no objections).

If I get a save before 12:30am EST, I can get one more turn in. Then it won't be until 10:00 or so EST

Blocking sounds ok. But if its a problem. War is the way. But there is no rule in this game....yet. This is a quick vote rule for the players.

Strictly it breaks the rules so I'll put it spoiler form, but it's also a friendly game and I thought I'd share my general situation to this point with a couple screenshots. You are welcome to look if it meshes with your sense of gameplay. If nobody looks, I can remove it too -- I don't imagine we have too many lurkers. Sorry if this is inappropriate, but I felt like playing with some of the cfc features.

Ok I popped the wheel guy
Couldn't resist. Looking back thru the posts I see I'm probably the guiltiest (prespoiler post) of violating the rule so far though they are subtle.

Puttering was my pure motivation initially with the spoiler post, but now I realize it can also be an honesty gauge/test. Blaze Injun passes.
Sorry for dredging this issue up of the grey area between following the rule and having fun and learning -- I guess I have too much time on my hands this morning Flirting with the line has been fine all along with everybody from my POV -- I see though my sense of the line has been warped. I have been trying and will continue to try to follow y'alls lead.

I won't be looking at the spoiler. A big part of the fun for me is exploring and finding out about the world ingame.

I have no problem with trying to block the movement of units from other civs.

Yeah it is probably better not to. While you might not mind posting a screenshot, it might actually give an advantage to a third party once they know where you are. So it is being a bit pinickity, but I wouldn't post them. Keep them though. Might be interesting to put them in when the game is finished.

(desperately trying to avoid news sites at the moment because i sky+'ed (like tivo) the Arsenal vs Manchester United game and haven't seen the result yet! Think NFL play off's but bigger )

Rules
1. All agreements (diplomatic) should only be done if and when they can be done in the game. In other words, don't make an MPP in principle until you have the tech and communication to do so.
2. Blocking is allowed

Well I must say we have a Great Group!!!
We did 5 turns each within 24 hours or there abouts. Wonderful.

wxwindmill You could start a story thread over in the Stories & Tales.
There you could put up your screens.
