The email system in the world has slowed for some reason. Its funny how we, meaning us players of PBEM have noticed and the world news hasn't said one word.

I still have not recieved wxwindmill email from yesterday. Another email took 9 1/2 hours to arrive.

Nope, haven't seen anyone yet. Just started phase II of exploration, so hope to meet someone in the next five or six turns.. Unless I am on an island! Have a rough idea of where I am in in the world due to geography etc...

Hey,

We need to come up with a shorter name for our game Quarky. Got any ideas. My sig has Unknown World but we can get a better name I think.

I like this one because it was my first PBEM. But it doesn't reflect the fact that 2 of the originial players have left. Also that jtcat was a valued player.

Sid had already met the French and the Mongols when I took over.
I'm in the middle of a continent so it will be a while before I can put out boats to go around the chunk of land I'm on and/or suicide run.
Built a city near iron this past turn. Sid only had the one worker built and he just ran away from barbs so it will be several turns before I can get it hooked up (Neeeed more workers - built one, but others will have to wait). France will have iron. I will have to race France to some horses.
The coasts I hit I am now going parallel to.
I almost didn't catch a city going into disorder this turn, but bumped up the lux slider.

Multiple turns per day this weekend?? That should work from my corner.
