How To Get in A MP or PBEM game if you r a newbie

This will be my last turn until later this evening. Sorry to hold up the game when it has been moving so well.

No ships here. Never been a great navigator myself..

Greybeard (and everyone else), don't worry about holding the game up. We seem to be flying along, and it is a marathon (hopefully!) not a sprint ;)

Climbed the mountain on the new landmass and now there is hope it might go someplace. The AI have a new city on the coast -- noowww will it be faster to take a settler of mine to some other beach or have troops to 'visit' the AI beach (for a tan??)??

I had my Conquests CD broke in half. I now have 3-Disc Civ. Complete. Is there any patach I need to load?

Also we are really moving in my view of things. Seldom do we not each get 3 turns in 36 hours. Hell we did 5 each last saturday night. Holding up in my book is more then 24 hours. Give ourselves a :high5: and some :beer:s.

I play with C3 Complete and didn't need a patch. Not sure what it uses the CD for apart from verifying that it is there. To be safe, you might want to actually install the Complete version rather than the Conquests version, but no idea if it is necessary.

Further exploration. Not much else to report this turn. :crazyeye:

No news here either really. It is amazing how much space there still is available considering the the number of Civ's on the map. Suspect the Computer Civ's must be close together?
