How To Get in A MP or PBEM game if you r a newbie

hi guys
I'm a newbie myself. I've only played AI games or against my 8 yr old son(he's pretty good but I can't see myself bragging about a win :p )
I've read a lot of your posts and was wondering if posting what you're doing each turn is a good idea or not. I know you guys are having a fun game but I'd hate to have some one go back thru my posts and see what I have b4 starting a war :p.
Anyways you guys seem to have a good game going and I hope I can get that experience too. I still should read a few more posts before I jump in a game I guess. Hopefully I find a rookie game too.
Well have fun and try to be nice as long as you can..but be ruthless when you have to :p

Yes but we all know that the early techs will be learned by all the players. Bragging about phantom units is just fun. Think of it as distant rumor and wild stories from traders. :mwaha:

Read the tutorials on PBEM or SG. I believe I listed some threads early near the begining. LouLong threads are very good. Register as a new player and as a replacement player. As you can see by the posts this games lineup has changed much. Its been started twice. I was also asked to be in a game because I was registered.

You should read the messages sent from The Great Ninevah Empire and Japan. I've been saving them for a book called Japan: The Lost Nation. Did I say that out loud. :cringe:

Hey we did have a lurker. Welcome to CFC:dance:

I don't think any of us are out for blood (other than the normal in game nondeceitful/frontal :hammer: parts) and if I get back stabbed, I'll just take it as part of the experience. My single games with the AI are usually quite honest (I avoid trashing my reputation) and I'll probably strive to maintain my reputation in this game, both from the in and out of the game perspectives. @Blaze Injun Good advice

I'm open to joining/starting a new game and if it were suggested I set one up, I'd surely invite my fellow How To players.:cool: I'd like to think I'm not too much of a rookie anymore, but I think I could participate in such a game (if nothing else I would accept the challenge of a poor/poorer starting position).

Do any of you look at F7? You know the wonder build list. I can't believe that The Great Ninevah Empire, Mongels and Aztecs are the only ones building. Our individual scores are all in middle.

Explored further north. Heard stories of vicious tribes engaged in war from a far away land, so following the tales. Working on a great road project to bring us together with neighbouring nations.
