I think the poster was just trying to give advice based on the first game you posted since that is where we see most detail and I'd agree with him on most of his points.

And if you read the post you quoted, you'll notice that I noticed

I thinki that one of the biggest problem for all of us newbies is that we over build too much. We don't whip enough. We have no sense of how long you should include yourself to war at a time. And how to keep relations going and with who.

Victorious game was different also with diplomatics. I backstabbed everybody in every chance I got. I wasn't too afraid of open borders in the beginning (knowing the size of army soon to have..).

Thanks again and I'll be probably be asking these same things within 6 months conserning immortal.. But before that I need lots and lots more wins. And other kind of victories than spacerace.
