Nifskope won't affect Blender. they're seperate programs. you probably have a newer version of Blender

I appreciate the bump
my Blender version is 2.43 (that's why there's a picture)
tutorial uses version 2.43

for me Blender stops on page 4. Is this the end of the line ? Or should I have NifSkope installed before Blender looks the same as Blender in the tutorial ?

I need more detail on installing the scripts follow these instructions:

-Install blender first
-install the nifscripts into the same directory
when blender starts you need to
-Run the import and export script at least once to register the scripts in Blender's configuration system by doing:
File -> Import -> NIF -> Cancel.
File -> Export -> NIF -> Cancel.

no everytime I've launched Blender, that window displays on the desktop behind the aplication. My PC and I have our differences. It has to get repaired. That sort of thing cannot be fixed in a forum.

This window is the console and it's absolutely normal you get it !
What's wrong is the message you get :
"Checking for installed python ... got it" is the message you must see instead of that mess.
There's a process to follow closely to get it right.
Installing Blender application first
Installing Python application then
Installing the PyFFI script
Installing the NifSript
...

but the scriptconfig window still has a problem.
"i don't have the other 3 square thing's like you have in picture 1 and when i click the 1 square i have, i don't see the "NetImmerse/GameBryo" option." using theLastOne's words..

http://www.python.org/download/releases/2.4/ is the version of python needed for this build of Blender . 2.5, 2.6 etc. won't work.
