I am trying to make a manually downloaded version of my mod to allow for multiplayer use, however I can't overwrite the .dds files in the UITextures.fpk file.
This didn't work for me. I tried both placing my mod in the DLC folder, and putting my textures in the Assets folder. Do they need to be in a specific subfolder? What assets did you replace?
Anywhere in the Assets folder. What Assets did YOU replace?
You can't just stick a mod in the DLC folder and expect it to work; there's a bit of work to convert it. I've never tried personally, but you can look at Enhanced UI for an example.
I didn't replace any files per say, since they are not in the assets folder. It's also DDS files, like "alfa_desert_d.dds" and "bravo_plain_d.dds"
I already downloaded User Interface Tweaks (v 2), watched his tutorial video, but i can't figure out how to do it. I guess i just have to keep trying...
