How To Move Splinter Of The True Cross ?

I am playing a Conquest as Germany. I have in my possession the Splinter of the True Cross. I need to move it to a particular city. How in the heck do I move it? I can select it, but I cannot move it? Unit stats seem to indicate it has a movement point of 1, but it won;t budge. How do I move it? Also, can I just negotiate a right of passage into the city where I need to take it? Does it disappear when it gets there?

I guess everybody comes across that difficulty... the Treasure won't move by itself, it has to be loaded into a unit (any military unit). Just move a military unit into the same place as the treasure and there will be a button (when you have the military unit selected) that you can load the treasure into the unit... and voilá, just move the unit!

Also, can I just negotiate a right of passage into the city where I need to take it? Does it disappear when it gets there?

Where do you want to take it? Jerusalem? If this is the case, then you have to conquer Jerusalem! Getting 10K points + 500(?) gold ain't that easy!
The treasure will disappear once it get's to it's destination.

I'm also playing as Germany managed to get the Shroud of Turin off the Burgundians.
The fools were heading north across my territory with a bunch of 10 spearmen and 10 settlers, far TOO tempting, I had to declare war.
Picked up the Shroud with a horseman, now how do I deposit it in one of my cities until I move on Jerusalem?
I want to know this as coming back to the game a day after capturing the Shroud I moved my horseman with Shroud into enemy territory. Didn't realise his name being in red meant something special, thought it was a bug of some sort.

You don't. You take the horseman to Jerusalem.

Thanks for those tips I was trying to figure this out too. I only recently got conquests and was trying to interpret what these strange units are.

...and this, I might add, is the real problem. Abbassids cover that city like Fort Knox, don't even try with less than an Army of Knights.
In fact, it is easier on DG and above to reach 30k Victory points by killing and capturing stuff than to complete the crusade.

Random question: As the Abbassids, do you get the VPs for bringing relics to Jerusalem?

Sorry it's the only way I know how!

I think so... the only issue might be getting the relics...

Good news: If you upgrade a unit, it drops the Relic.

it's really fun to be the abbasids, I kill all incoming crusaders and return the relics myself. the only problem is barbarians like crap.
