Hi,
I installed BUG-Mod 3.6 using the first Option. (Custom Assets)
Later I uninstalled it using the Uninstaller from Windows-Startmenu.

But not everything is gone now. I have still some pink colours in CIV (Borders of City X have expanded) and also some text (I use German Language).

How do I remove the remains of BUG-Mod to have a plain BTS 3.17, like I had before?

The city borders expanding alert is part of the regular game--not BUG. When you uninstall BUG after installing using the single-player (first) option, it renames your CustomAssets folder to CustomAssets-BUG-removed or something similar. You can delete the folder, but it isn't being used by Civ anymore.

Can you post a screenshot of the pink boxes so I can see if something is in error? If you right-click on your CustomAssets folder and select Properties, does it say "0 Files"?

But the coulour is not the right one. Before I installed Bug-Mod the Coulour of this text was white.

sorry, but you are talking . .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .!
I just reinstalled the complete game (thank you for that..) and took a screen of the same message:

http://www.abload.de/image.php?img=borders_message_whitekjlo.jpg

As you see the colour of this is white in BTS without Mods and also the text itself is different.

So BUG-Mod changed some of my core civ files and didnt rechange them when removing the mod.. Not only the colour of this text, also the translation. I never installed any other mod.

I agree that the color is indeed changed in that screenshot, and that sounds vaguely familiar now. I was focusing more on the fact that the core game does have that alert, so I apologize for mixing that up with the color of the alert as well.

That being said, I am 100% positive that BUG does not alter any core game files. I know that the colors and messages in the event log (ctrl-tab, shown in that screenshot) are stored in the saved game. I do not know for sure if the messages that are queued up at the start of your turn (this one is such) are stored. In other words, I don't know if the message is regenerated using the non-BUG files when you load the game.

The new screenshot you posted looks like a new game. I bet if you load the saved game that produced the previous screenshot, you'd see the purple colored message from BUG.
