How to save settings?

Hi,

I have Civ IV Complete Edition (includes Warlords + BtS) patched to 3.19 and installed on Vista Home. I have downloaded the latest BUG version.

Still going through all the options to get it to show what I want but I have one question:

How do I save the settings I choose?

They are saved when you close the options screen. If they are not being saved, it is typically a permissions issue with Vista. You can create a folder called "BUG Mod" in your "My Games / BTS" folder. It should then store all the INIs that hold your settings there.

After I first downloaded and installed it I went throught the settings and when I re-opened it the settings were gone so I had to do them all again. I posted here and then when I opened it again later the settings had been saved.

Strange... but sorted out anyway

Very weird. The settings not being saved is usually due to permissions or some other error. I haven't seen the error right itself without having to do something deliberate, but I'm glad it's working for you now.
