I have an issue while playing with my mates in multiplayer games. Quite commonly someone of us four goes warmongering which ends in destruction of couple civilizations. If we are unlucky it means that one player gets wiped out. That then will result in other players unwilling to continue the game because someone is left out.
Now I am NOT interested in tactics and strategies. They are matter of other discussions. What I would like to know is if anybody has come to some idea how to tackle this problem. Perhaps with 'house rules'? Mod? Something else? I find my google-fu and search-fu lacking.
Warring should be meaningful versus other players, but there should also be some opportunities left for the almost wiped faction.
Any ideas?
