How to Take over a AI Civilization

Precharging a settler/engineer means you let them start doing something that will not be done right away and then you click on them and stop them from doing it. By doing this the unit accumulates one charge. If you do this n times in a row, it accumulates n charges. If you want to do something that takes n+1 turns you precharge n turns and then when you command the unit to do it, it happens in one turn.

You can also note how many turns the settler is doing say irrigation and just click at it to stop it at the n'th turn. Then do the n+1 job, say building a fort instantly. It is not necessary to click at the settler n times.

Hoffman is right. You do not have to click n times. Just make sure you keep good notes and do not forget about the settler.

Someone (Hoffman?) was asking about Civ2Administrator recently. This helper program can tell you the number of charges in each Settler, if you forget. [But IMO you'd have to be pretty serious about a game to use it this way].

Civ2Administrator? What the golly is that? Guess it wasn't me who asked, but I can't help asking now?
