How to use Standard leader name?

I hate to use my PC name instead the default name one.

It is the possibility to have the original leader name (like Washington, Victoria etc) for the human player? I know that I can edit it, but when I play random civ this is impossible

In game, if you hit Alt+d you can change your leader name.

or you can just edit the ini file, you'll find 4 entries:

; Game Name
GameName = XXX

; Save Path - relative to working (Civ4) folder
FileName = 0

; Account Username
Nickname = XXX

; Email Address
Email = XXX

; In-game Alias
Alias = XXX

the old school way would be to just try changing them one at a time i changed all 4, but judging by the infile comments it's probably <alias>, maybe <gamename>, probably not <nickname>, and definitely not <email>

I think he means "What should I change those fields to so that the name will always be the tame of whatever civ I'm leading?"

Which is something I've wondered too. The Alt+D thing is an easy workaround, of course, but it'd be nice if it would automatically put my name as the leader of my civ instead of me manually having to change it. Like how it did in every other Civ.

Alt+d is good to know, however.
