As Cuirs/Cavs ignore walls and castles, you would use 2movement cannons to bombard culture defense away? Sounds interesting, but it seems a huge investment to blow 2 or 3 GGs for that purpose only. Never did that neither.
As long as the map is a decent size, I'll end up with over half a dozen, so using 3 or 4 on siege wouldn't be missed that much. 2 or 3 supermedics, one for each SOD should be all I need. THANKS GUYS. I see a late night tonight giving this a try. hahahahhahahaha
So a couple of late nights later, I did the normal Heavy horseman run but then rushed to steel before the run to rifles and cav.
Got cannons and started romping and generated 5 quick GGs. (was IMP) so had one super medic and 4 GG cannons. They did save a few turns but didn't get really rolling till I got cav so it really wasn't a game changer. It may help to shave a few turns off the final win if I can generate a few more but meh.
I wonder if others might try this and comment back on their experience.
