HRY3 - Requiem for the Monarchs

Okay mitsho, take the save.

Actually this is my fault, I guess. I should've PMed DH earlier, but didn't think to. I'll do that next time.

Wouldn't have mattered anyway. My connection at home is currently down and has been for a few days now. As I can only post from school, put me on indefinite skip for now. I could be up and running tonight, or in a week from now. My cable provider recently switched and I don't know how good they will be in terms of tech support.

I'm gunnin to take out Zulu soon, they are making this game to one-sided!

whoops, guess I'm up, this is an 'I got it'.

*pre-turn*
Notice some happiness problems, can't do much about that until we get more money! The workers are doing fine, but I wish they were faster (giddy about Replaceable Parts)! Our core cities (especially WONDER producing cities) really need rails, so I'll put that on top priority.
Trade America Steam Power for Military Tradition, wm, +67GPT, and 111 gold... better we get the deal instead of Zulu and Korea who already have the tech.

ibt- To start off the game, oh how nice a peace between the Incans and Americans, that's swe... o geez forget that...
zulu_destroy.JPG

Guess their forces marched on Incans, I wonder if the AI ever thought of MOVING the king unit at the last second...

anyways turn 1, 1305ad...

New Argos founded-- worker
Slide the science down a notch, just for mo' money.

turn 2, 1310ad...
*Forestia library--ch
Disband some old units for extra shields. The great cultural expansion of the south should begin soon (I'm really hoping getting rails down there will get shield output up enough to produce units quickly.).

ibt- learn Electricity, begin Replaceable Parts (the 2nd love of my life, aside from Panzerschiffen)

turn 3, 1315ad...
*Thermo ch--cavalry
*Argos worker--worker
*Herakleia galleon--galleon (going to need about 8 to 10 of these)
*Basilea library--ch

*Marathon bank--factory
ooo good, MUCH faster workers! Our core will be done in no time.
but... NO F****** RUBBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EVERY other civ HAS RUBBER, BUT NOT US ?!?!!?
:aargh:
We need to consider this in our attack plan, it seems we need to get cavs going NOW to effectively take Korea and someone else soon (maybe Babylon, they are in Medieval Ages)

ibt-nadda

turn 10, 1350ad...
*Herakleia galleon--galleon
Idumenia library--ch

Only thoughts... GET WORKERS to finish core cities and get cavs rolling NOW!
new_core.JPG

1350, the Age of NO RUBBER

No rubber? Impossible. I must download this and see for myself.

Kuningas is up, but I think he's away right now? If so, then Elvis1985 is up.

Damn, okay, you're right.

Heeeeey....it looks like Korea has some Rubber right on the coast. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

A mixed force of Cavalry, Riflemen, and Cannons could probably take Seoul easily enough. Bring along a few Settlers too, for obvious reasons.

yup, settler are a must (plus be ready for a harbor rush)
but realize this, they WILL have infantry in there city (unless we get cavs and galleons soon, they could have as many as 10 infantry in their city)... :ar15:

That's why we bring a whole hell of a lot of Cannons. No, wait, we have Replaceable Parts now, right? Artillery, then. Bring a whole bunch of Artillery! 30+ might be able to do it.

hmm, yeah... :)

But we are the mightiest country, aren't we? Isn't it possible to get it from somewhere for 20 turns and then build as hell?

mfG mitsho

Yes, it is quite bizarre, especially considering we had a large jungle right in the middle of our continent. I would've expected at least one source.

It's this damn Conquests where resources are more scarce. I think resources are a little *too* scarce now, though. Firaxis needs to increase resource appearance a little bit, IMO.

I ask for skip. I have been sick lately.
Yesterday I feeled better but today I feel worse.

You have forget conquests new specialist the civil engineers. I suggest to swap few engineers to corrupt cities.
