So I started in an area with a lot of lakes and wanted to try for Huey Teocalli wonder, but it's gone? Used to come with Military Tactics but now it's not even in the civilopedia? When/why did this happen?

Check to make sure you have the Aztec civ pack enabled.

Thanks, for some reason Aztecs and Poland were disabled. I didn't do that...

When the Indonesia/Khmer DLC and/or the patch were downloaded, a lot of the previous DLCs were sporadically disabled.

I actually built it once - had a map where I ended up with 37! lake tiles - and Auckland for good measure. It was awesome! Have fun.

I was able to build it on a space that had 5 adjacent lake tiles. I wasn't important but it had to be done.

The few times I've found a terrific lake to put Teocali in, the best tile inevitably contains Pearls.

Uhh, does Auckland's suzerain bonus effect lakes too?? Gotta try that out...

For some reason I love lake tiles. I wish Lakes were more relevant, both in Civ 5 and 6 (especially 5, only the Aztecs want them). That's why I like Aztecs (civ 5), Indonesia (civ 6), Huey....

I almost never have a good map for this. If I ever do find one, I'll have to beeline for it. Even at lower levels, the AI builds this fast. They will even build it when they only have 1 lake hex (the one they are building the wonder on). :hammer2:

Had a lucky experience with this in my Arabia game just now. My start was pretty awful, surrounded by tundra and blocked off by Poland in the west. I made a lousy city by a 3 tile lake in the tundra

Apparently no one else wanted it because huey tocalli was still around long enough for my awful 5 pop city to build it in 50ish turns.

The 3 tile lake itself wasn't that huge of a boon, but later I settled next to another 2 tile lake that straddled the coastline, and eventually had oil show up in it. 3f/6p lake tile and gold? Probably not worth building the wonder for but I still loved it.

Thanks for proving I'm not going insane, Tech Osen. I just came looking for the same answer. I bought Civ VI fairly recently and have played dozens of single player games, and the Huey was a fav Wonder. Then I realized it wasn't coming up anymore and it is gone from my Civilopedia completely too. ???!!!!
