Humankind Game by Amplitude

How much closer to release? Like in March of next year? I always looked forward to the Tuesday faction reveal. Maybe Amplitude should have started revealing them later than they actually did?

Please don't make me wait too long, Amplitude!
Well if they do 1 per week again and release in April 2021, then they start again in February 2021.

Question: Does anyone know what will happen when a city lost stability and "rebels"? IIRC this mechanism was incorporated in the Stadia OpenDev, but I didn't (dare to) try it myself.

@8housesofelixir in openDev Stadia, I declined all osmosis spam from my greek neighbour to get big the malus of stab. At a moment, a squad of swordmen with a grey blazon (like IP) spawned (with the aesthetic of my poeple). I directly killed them so I don' t know if they were able to take my city. (maybe not in this openDev, but apparently in some of the last build, IP can even take your outpost). And I didn't check if I get back some stab.
I think they came from my pop, so I lost some pop, for sure.

Are any of the emblematic quarters city uniques? For example, some of the quarters that grant boosts to eg worker or farmer output - if you can build multiple Coking Works (or whatever) does that part stack up?I would assume that the bonus is unique but you could plop a few of that quarter and still get the citizen slots and the raw yield from its adjacency.

I also noticed that in one of my OpenDev games. I did an experimental game and transitioned to the Greeks so I could beeline medieval tech. While I was doing that, I noticed some swordsmen out of nowhere. They must be rebels since my stability was so low at that point.

yes you can build an Emblematic Quarter multiple times in the same city. But there is a limit of district (which can be rise up with common quarters), and it's not always interesting to spam the EQ in term of yields.

So, a screenshot today, on twitter, asking which cultures are represented ? ^^
Personally, I really don't know if it is the Ghanaian CC or if their EQ was reworked ?

Well, gameplay wise, you should never see a Ghanaian City Centre, as everything is likely to be settled by then... ;-) Joking aside though, that feels more like the emblematic quarter.

So that gives us Ghana, Rome, Carthage (or Phoenicians?), something mesopotamian in the background, and what are those two quarters on the cliff in the front?

Also Stonehenge which should really be a Neolithic Wonder which would be really cool if possible.

For me, it's only Olmecs to Romans to Ghanaians.
In the background, it's a generic fort. The ship could be generic.
And a lot of generic quarters.

Yes, Olmecs, Romans, and Ghanaians for sure in the foreground and then the Ziggurat in the background for Babylonians.

It's the Emblematic Quarter. We heard from many people that the little structure on the original EQ that was supposed to be an enclosed (storage) courtyard looked like Larabanga Mosque, so we reworked it, and hopefully this new look will avoid any confusion.

The rectangular structure to the left of the mountains in the background is indeed, as Narcisse said, a "generic fort."

I recognize the music from Endless Legend. Or at least some of it.
