Hwach'a Veterancy

This would proberly apply to all units with lethal bombard.

Does veterancy affect bombard units? They have no HP and the veteran ones are not visably different to regulars. But I just noticed this earlier:
All my Hwacha's had been made in cities with baracks, making them veterans.
I killed a spearman with one of them, and it said he was promoted to elite (with a animation of the korean man behind the rockets doing a backflip )
So does it actualy do anything for the units at all? and is it possible to get leaders from lethal bombard units?

100% sure: You can get a MGL from LL bombardment. Repeatedly happened to me. However, this was during testing a mod, where Artillery is 0.1.1 ADM.

So:
95% sure: Not until the unit has at least 1HP, thus a Defence or Attack value.

I've not done conclusive testing, but experience indicates that the unit needs HP to be able to spawn a MGL.

In C3C (V 1.00 unpatched) you definatly can get leaders from Hwacha's.

How do i get screenshots? [print screen] didn't seem to work.

I think from any bombardment unit - if it has lethal bombardment and so it can be promoted.

It would be only lethal bombard units, they only got promoted on a kill, and I got my leader after a kill.

Got a reason to build lethal bombardment units in baracks now

For screenshots, have 'paint' or a similar program open while playing civ. Hit 'print screen' to take the snapshot, then switch to paint, paste and save.
