Hypothetical Walker vs Clinton

Hillary could be an effective POTUS, particularly with a GOP Congress to keep her leftist tendencies in check. She's too pragmatic to let her ideology get in the way of governing, I think. That said, I don't know if she's electable.

Neather....I'd rather have someone from other the Clinton and Obama administration....

^I always reply to honest questions:

You are judging a female politician by her looks, though, even to the point of calling her barely human. You haven't found fault with any specific actions or words of hers, but you demote her to "barely human" due to her looks.

You regularly voice your distaste for her, but you've never offered a policy critique that sets her apart as worse than anyone else.

Well, i am all that is wrong with US politics. Much like anyone else with some eyesight left.
(that is 'metaphorical' eyesight, don't have a heart attack again :) ).

Pointing out your persistent and vocal disdain for a female politician for no reason other than her appearance is not "having a heart attack." Hillary Clinton has always been the target of a lot of really sexist, hateful, and nasty comments for nothing more than being a woman. I'd link links, but they usually have naughty words in them. Suffice it to say that she generates an amount and strength of opposition totally out of proportion to her actions, especially when compared to male politicians.

If you want to criticize her views and actions, go ahead--I'm sure there are more than enough ways to do so--but to constantly point out that you don't like her appearance, to call her "barely human," and then to attempt to avoid giving any kind of straight answer into why you dislike her so much seems like a rather sexist criticism.

So you do actually believe what you post?

Anyway, even if you do, it is a very boring attack, so i will pass, thanks. It is not 'sexist' to call the looks of someone something very negative; afaik it can happen with both sexes... :face:

Well, yes.

HC really has been targeted for being a female politician, with all the judgments about appearance that that entails. She ought to be targeted for being a career politician (as they tend to crave power), with her sex having nothing to do with it.

Granted, I do recall you expressing like or dislike for male politicians purely based on their appearance rather than their deeds, so perhaps in your case it isn't sexism, or perhaps it is, but the vast majority of attacks on HC for her appearance are sexist in nature, since male politicians are criticized for their appearance much more rarely than women.

EDIT: In response to your ninja-edit, you're awfully keen to evade any and all criticism of your vehement opposition to Hillary Clinton by changing the subject, or by pretending that those who notice your dislike of her looks are all just overreacting trolls out to get you. You can't just say, "I'm not going to answer that question, since it is boring and I am better than you :smug:," and then run away.

That when pressed you are unable to detail your particular disagreements with Hillary's policies doesn't exactly fill me with confidence in the ability to a country whose national pastime is tax evasion to be trusted to run itself.

Deft dodges and excellent debate skills Kyriakos. You've left us reveling in your superior intellectual authority with your cool headed dismissals.

Warren has the chance to shape good legislation on economic issues for over a decade in the Senate, or she can be a political punching bag for 4 or 8 years. I hope she stays put.

Agreed, as much as I'd like an actual progressive on economic issues in the White House I think Warren is more valuable as a leader in the Senate. Slight hope for Majority Leader 2016?
