I can't build railroads!

Research steam power... check.
Have coal resource and it shows in city box... check.
Roads lead to where I'm trying to build railroad (right next to the city)... check.

What am I missing!??!?!?!? It must be something really obvious... so here's one of these in advance... :rocket:

Okay I'm an idiot... I haven't played in a while, and forgot that you need iron -not- coal, to build these things... now to hunt for iron...

The problem is it's not mentioned in the civ'pedia, I can't believe they didn't improve it a bit for conquests.
