I can't run the game.. :(

hi.

i installed the game, but, when i click in the desktop icon, the pc starts loading some files, but then, it stops and comes back to windows. So, i cann't run the game.

i think that the sound is incompatible. in the readme file, they suggest to use the miles 2d driver. I have realtek AC97...

Can anyone help me?

hi! i installed the patch v1.52 and it worked!

In the menu game I choosed the tutorial mode and Sid appears on the screen, the one who teaches me everything about civ. when i want to leave, i save the game and quit to windows but, when i want to play again and i load the saved game Sid doesn't appear and i cann't get the informations he gives...

How can i resurge Sid?

EDIT: just thought - the Tutorial games will not save, you need to complete in one session. Try turning on tutorial before loading a saved game, but the latter is a bit thin, doubt it will work to be honest ..... limitation of current tutorial system. Usually you need to restart a tutorial session

I completed it in one session..

In Civ III there was the option to view the city (zoom) and look at all the buildings and Wonders..

i didn't find that option in Civ IV..

It doesn't exist?

You can zoom all the way in with the mouse wheel but it looks kinda funny. There isn't a traditional civ3 city view

There is a City Screen if you double click the City name on the main map - is that the one you after ??

no, it's the city view.

The shortcut in Civ III was an EYE in the top of the window...
