Spamming makes me think of 10s of 20s of workers building 10s of 20s of cottages per turn, 10s of 20s of units being completed per turn, 10s of 20s of buildings being completed per turn.

Get real! The game does not move that fast..

I wish the word 'spam' could be changed to something a bit more realistic.

It just means a player is dedicating all his effort and resource into something significant to him whether mass building cottages, universities, or Axeman. Sometimes it makes a lot of sense since these decisions are largely affected by the civis you are running, i.e.

* you want to "Spam" cottages after switching to Emancipation
* you want to "Spam" universities after discover Education and running Organized religion

* you want to "spam" Panzers when running Police state/Theocracy.

Under these circumstances, yes you CAN have 10s of units being built in a single turn, or many city improvements if you have a large enough empire.

Man i'm fighting the SPAM SPAM SPAM urdge to go SPAM SPAM SPAM because of this thread SPAM SPAM SPAM. But seriosly, "spaming" in civ is a good term for the process described bu ABigCivFan.

It's okay to vent, dude. Bottling these feelings up inside causes tummy trouble (sort of like Spam). :)
