Hiya all,

Last weekend I got myself a copy of Civilization IV, with both the expansions. I just finished my first game and I'm in love with it already :) . I played Pan-Gaia on chieftain and as the Roman Empire. I lost however, my neighbours declared war on me and removed me from the map :( . A few questions and remarks linger on my mind though:

If I zoom in on my cities I notice a yellow smoke appearing from it. What gives? Is it an indication of poor health or so?

After a while your cities get more inhabitants, shown by the number in the city info bar on the map. What do I do with these?

And finally, something that did bug me was the constant diplomacy wailing from my AI opponents. Every-single-turn they ask me to stop trading with the SAME guy over and over. When they stopped about that they started about going to war with them. What is this, a bug or feature?

Greets,
Tim

EDIT: I totally put this in the wrong section, sorry.

Yellow smoke is poor health.

What you do with your inhabitants is choose which tiles they work on. You can do this in the city view screen. They will pick the correct tiles ok automatically, but on levels beyond Prince you must micromanage them yourself to suceed

The constant diplomacy: Your AI opponents didn't like that civ and eventually ganged up on him. They probably had different religions.

Thanks for your reply!

Yeah I guess they didn't like them but it's just kinda bugging me because when I say NO it stays NO.
