hi everyone
actually My Current computer is not good enough to run the game .. i run the game in low settings :(
so I'm going to buy a new one and i want to know what is the best Components to run the game in high settings
I will Combine the computer .. I will buy every Component Separately ..
So .. I want from every one of you to Suggest the best Components ..
Thank you :)

You mean you're building a computer?Well, I probably don't have Civ5 on max graphics(don't never look at the graphics menu much)but my computer runs it good.

I've got an AMD Phenom 2(940, I think)Quad Core CPU, a ATI 4000 series Graphics Card, 4 gigs of RAM, and a Biostar motherboard. All that runs Civ5 good. And since this stuff is pretty old, you could probably get this stuff pretty cheap.

But just depends on what you wanna get.

Ok ..
thank you for Reply :)
But I have few Questions
1- which one better .. nVidia 9800 series or ATI 4800 series
2- this Components can run the game like i saw in let's play civ 5 .. i mean can run the game without any lag and the solider move fast ..
and thank u again for reply :)

You are going to have to be a little more specific. A series ranges from good to bad. One card in the series may be better than the worse card in the other series, but matching specific cards would make it easier. The more cores a card has, the better at refresh rates. However having good memory and a CPU will help in slow end game turns. I have a great video card with great movement, but the end time turns can take up to 5 minutes, just processing all the behind the scenes resources.

that is very nice ..

and thank you very much again :)

Are you really, really sure you want to assemble the computer yourself?

By your question, it appears that you don't know much about computer hardware, wouldn't it be a better idea to go for a (mostly) pre-built system?

Unless you go for a pretty powerful/expensive machine, it's usually not worth the trouble to build one yourself.

In any case, for a meaningful advice, we would need to know your price range, what stuff you plan to do with it besides ciV and what diplay(s) you are using.

my price range is 500 $ ( dollar )
because in my country all computer Components are cheap so 500 $ = Great fortune :)
and i plan to play most games at high or normal
and my diplay(s) I'm using ..
I can't attach it :(

My latest computer is a laptop (not the one mentioined above). It has an i7 2.2 GHz CPU (8 cores), 8 Gig 1333 speed memory, and Nvidea 555M Graphics. This graphics option may be comparable to the Geforce 9800 GX2, GeForce GTS 240, or the Radion HD 3870 X2. So any card above these should work just fine graphics wise for Civ5. There have been some driver issues and compatibility concerns on some of the newer cards, but I am sure they will be worked out eventually. There are so many cards that listing them all, would be pointless, not knowing what is even available for you.

Why can't you attach your display? If the Graphics card does not have an HDMI out, I would not even purchase it. Hooking up the display via HDMI is the easiest to do. You may have to play with windows 7 audio controls to direct the sound where you would like it to go though. the HD tv (display) or a set of speakers (or even surround system).

If you are buying the CPU and memmory, you will have to also purchase a Mother board that is compatible. Your old MB, may not even run the newer components. There are lots of choices out there, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.

How much cheaper than in the US?

For a budget gaming system specifically for use with CiV I would recommend something along those lines (with approx USD prices)

i3-2120 with a cheap LGA 1155 mainboard ($175)
HD 7750 ($100)
2x2 GB kingston value RAM DDR3-1333 or -1600 ($25)
HDD ($70)
Optical Drive ($20)
cheap standard form factor case ($40)
decent PSU in the 350-450W range ($60)

It you can use your old case and optical drive, an i5-3570 (+$90) might fit into the budget.

go check a forum like tomshardware.com

cpu: i5 3570k
graphics card: radeon 6850 or geforce gtx 560 or better

what country are you in?

The Nvidia 9800 and AMD 4800 are both outdated parts. Unless you're getting them used on craigslist or something for a really great price, I would pass.
