Ok, so what does THIS mean? Those intrepid little numbers in parenthesis, right next to the resources I have? Why is it that sometimes they do not jibe with the information given to me in the little info screen (as you can see to the right of the Resource field, in the example I've included)?

attachment.php

. . . as a for instance, it says that I have 1 Oil in the info popup screen, even though to it's right, in the Resource Field, it says I have 4 (in parenthesis)??

Any answers?

I dunno. Maybe Standard Ethanol is messing up the count?

Well, it is only happening in Constantinople: the only city that currently has StdEthanol, and so I am sure that it does have something to do with StdEthanol, but I'm not convinced it's a bug.

On a relevant note, the same thing is happening with my Aluminum count: I only have 1 Aluminum in my empire, though it is showing that I currently have 4. And, yes: I do also possess Aluminum Co.

Resources produced by corporations are only present in the city they are produced in, not empire wide. They are not available for trade. Therefore they don't show up in some places in the user interface.

The oil produced by Std. Ethanol is only useful for being able to produce units that require it in that city. Its ability to produce more than 1 is useless.

The aluminum produced by Al. Co. is useful for more: not only does it allow you to produce units in that city that require aluminum, but it also counts as aluminum that can be consumed by the Creative Constructions corp to increase its production and culture output.

Thank you for the reply, God, but I still don't understand why with the oil, for instance, it's stating that I have 4, when by my count I only have 1 Oil Resource site in my entire empire, and then just one more Oil "Resource" being produced by Ethanol. That, of course, just adds up to two. Where's the third and fourth Oil coming from?
