Zulu, I don't want to detract from the point of this thread. Your leaderheads are simply the best I've ever seen. Nevertheless, I must ask:

Ok, I've been gone a long while, so I suppose some of you might not remember me. Well, anyway, I'm back here and back in the business of making leaderheads. Looking back over my previous work, I see that I ran into problems with the mechanics of the pcx files, namely transparency issues and also adding civ3-specific gubbins that can't really done inside of Poser (like the bandages and kisses). Words can't begin to describe how much I hate using the clone brush in paint shop pro, so this is a request for help. If I can supply the required art, can some kind soul make the appropriate set of pcx's for me?

I have two leaderheads done and ready to go, and working on a third.




As you can see, I'm currently working on a series of sci-fi leaders. Once I'm done with that, we'll see what's next on the cards.
 
Although I must reiterate as well, has the German Axeman unit been abandoned for good? You're really good at units too, and there was a whole raft of awesome German unit concepts you were floating there zulu, and it's hard not to forget them!
 
Well, you don't need band aids on the leaderheads, you just need them to be bloody and beat up. I can do the beatup pics if you like. By the way, will you finish that Space Marine?

With regards to the german units and the space marine leaderhead - I don't know. I don't have the files anymore, but I'll see what I can do. The space marine is easiest.
 
If ever there was a time for a revival of Civ3 thread; I think this would be that time. There were an abundance of units posted over the last 3 days, and now zulu9812, The Newbie Nightmare, is back.

I know you only through folklore, but I welcome you back all the same. :) I agree that you are very good at units - IIRC you did a Carthaginian Pikeman that is still in regular use in ancient mods.

Well, I don't want to make unwelome requests that require too much work to fulfill -- and it may be that I have just done that, not knowing that all your files are gone! But just so you know, your past work has been greatly appreciated, as have your previews for future work. And if you decide to pick up those old projects again, I doubt I'll be the only one jumping for joy. ;)

He looks simply awesome, but frankly it's hard to tell at this size and with no frames. Can you make a preview of the actual 200x240 leaderhead (with background, or at least not transparent)?
 
Looks great! Don't think it needs to be moved in or out much
