Observation
Why do computer programmers/scientists always have crap computers and brag why they don't upgrade their OS from Windows 95.
Jesus Civs said:But it is brutal honesty.
Games are being developed each year that require more and more powerful hardware.
I'd say, by the feel of the game, that Firaxis held back with the possiblities of this game.
But every time a new game comes out, there are gonna be some losers.
Btw...
"And I hope your whole family dies of cancer!"
What sort of a remark is that?
Mr. Hyperbole said:@ Jesus Civs:
I believe you'll find few people here will disagree that as new, more immersive games emerge, comp hardware will have to keep up(there are already plenty of threads open for people who disagree), but if you'll take a look at Kayigo's earlier comments, you'll see that isn't her problem. Her computer is BEYOND mimimum requirements.
It does nothing to help to make empty comments like, "buy a f*king new computer."
If the transmission on a car suddenly falls out the bottom of a car due to poor manufacturing, do we say, "It's your own damn fault! Shouldn't have bought a Ford!"

Cars are different because essential driving never changes.
A 1920 Ford Model T is just as effective as a 2000 Ford Focus on a national primary road.
A 1987 IMB 365 is not as effective as a 2005 3.4Ghz P4 HT machine.
A computer's power, and the power they use, are both inextricably linked. As one increase, so does the other, and visa versa.
