..It's the first i post a thread in Civ V, so uhm, Hi Everyone.

.Actually, I'm only a minor so it's hard for me buy everything i wanted. (it gonna be okay the time i find a job)
..The point is it's almost impossible for me to upgrade my low'spec computer..
..I can play Civ IV BTS with the latest patch.. And so I'm happy with it.

..I'm asking, can i play CivV (or maybe w G&K) with this spec.??

OS: Windows XP SP3
MB: Intel Pentium CPU E5800 (Dual Core 3.2GHz
RAM: 2gb
Graphics Card: 512mb

..Hope it works..

You can always try out the demo on steam.

Steam eats the souls of little gamers!!!

Can't download the demo. At the moment, I don't have 'net connection, i just browse with my phone..:D

I've no worries if Civ V won't work in the present...I'll just hide it in a safe place and re'intall it when the right time comes..No rush..

And besides, even Civilization I still lives until now...Civ Series are immortal..;)

If you purchase Civ5 and use it any way outside of steam, you will find no support here though. that is illegal.

I assume that every one knows steam is needed to install the game. And yes, it takes a while to download 4 gigs of information, that is the demo. You will have to also download the latest content unless you buy the latest G&K version which is more up-to-date than an original vanilla version.

What do mean? I seemly can't understand about it?:mischief:

Does that mean if the game is installed perfectly w/o the use of steam, the game i bought is illegal? If yes, good to know..:)
Uhm, I'm also planning to buy both Civ5 and G&K..

Essentially Steam is used to authenticate the version you have, so you can play the game offline, but need to get online first to set it up as legit.

A good website to see if your PC will run the game is http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx
Pop in the game name and it'll scan your specs to see if you can run the software.

.,now i get it..sorry for being a noob into authentication things.. ,.and thanks for providing a link., ,i'll visit that when i got my bb stick back..XD
