The involvements of such a wonderful game take me elsewhere, and this is when I loose.
A death perhaps, but I would say it’s more of a lose of concentration? How could U not?
Do you know what the word Nemesis means?

------------------
LIVE!

Yes I know of Nemesis (with a capital N): apparently a goddess of the Greek pantheon, though one I've never met. Allegedly she is a goddess of vengeance and retribution though, like all other deities, she probably does a whole load of other things too (and other deities probably fare well in the vengeance and retribution department too!).

Anyway... to the game. You must put your concentration were it belongs. It is rare that a chess game should take priority in one's life, and you have many other things to preoccupy you at the moment.

I have hesitated over this move for a day. There are two choices for me, and they are not quite equivalent. I'd like to play one, but my intuition warns me to play the other. So, as ever, I will follow my intuition.

Which page on Runes did you see: this one or this one ?

I've been studying runes for over 20 years so it would be a long story. In summary, I first became interested in runes because from 1973 onwards I've studied divination, starting with the I Ching. However some time after I came across them, I realised that runes were not just a tool for divination as most modern people think. I researched their historical uses from primary sources and studied the culture, values and religion of their originators. Later I did my own practical research and found that they were also "keys" that could be used to unlock vast energies. I also realised that, though there are very many modern books on runes, nearly all of them should be thrown away! So I wrote an introductory booklet and later set up an online rune study group.

(edit: remove rune study group link)

Sorry it took so long, I was in the moving process - from apartment life to a house, Finally.
I'm glad to see the audience finally came around.=)
BTW. I saw the second page, and I'm going to get into the runes more and as go through life, The sage in me keeps gathering at the surface of my ego, I just have to step carefully.

First of all "Hello audience!" Great to see you guys taking an interest. I for one am flattered by your attention. And thanks for your encouragement VC.

If you take a look forward a few moves in this game, you'll see it still has lots of complicated possibilities. So my best guess so far is that it'll be a long game, even before anyone has a marked advantage. You may be waiting a few weeks to collect your prize! And I've included a game position after my move below...
<IMG SRC="http://forums.civfanatics.com/image_uploads/tgd_st28b.JPG" border=0>

TGD: No problem about moving. Continue as and when you can. I've just come back from four days camping in the New Forest. And interesting that you found the second page. The first one has links to it from all over the web, but the second one requires a more diligent search to find it.

There's no way I can let you rest and recuperate ... So I'm going to keep forcing the pressure, and try to gain a little more space. My chess mentor says -- Take the space your opponent leaves behind.
One of my favorite chess sayings is from the Wizard of Riga, he said, There are two types of sacrifices: correct ones and mine."
