ICBM test on barbarian

Hi,

I hate AI since they use ICBM and testing on barbarian. When I have landed on continental full of barbarian, I am ready with at least tank and marine. Conquer barbarian cities, fight with them (even sometime tank vs warrior, but at least fight). AI never send any troops, just use ICBM to nuke barbarian city, and make global warming change to around the city. Not only one AI civ do that, but almost all leading civs but me. AI really no brain!

i hate that aswell. nuking the same city a whole load of times just to make sure theres global warming. Also in warlords the ai seems more willing to use nukes against me and each other

Hang on. Since when did AIs use nukes, even in Warlords? I've rigged an AI (in Warlords) city with a whole bunch of garrison troops, at war with me and can build nothing but SAM Infantry and ICBMs for units. What the fuck does it build? Infantry.

I did a test game (because I played a couple of nuke-free games, and was still dubious) and saladin built a nuke and used it on my capital after I nuked him.

Pardon my silly question: Did ICBM is a nuke? So far I remember no one build Manhattan Project. I could be wrong...

The ICBM unit is the only nuke unit in the game. So yes, ICBM = nuke.

Don't blame the AI, blame Firaxis! There is a word for that: discrimination. Nuke a civilization and the whole world against you; nuke the barbarians and the whole world ok with it. It's not fair! Barbarians or not, they are humans too. Please don't tell me that they are really just some electrons and photons bouncing around inside a circuit board.

the manyhatin project needs to give an advantage. like if u have flight and oil and buld the manhatin project u chould build bumbers with nukes. or a atomic bomb unit, that can be loaded onto a ordary bomber then used.

Go into WB, give the Barbs a shedfull of Nukes, stand back......

What they need to do is make the Manhattan Project a small wonder. That way, you have to build it if you want nukes.

In all of my games we have banned nuclear proliferation before anyone uses or even builds one.

No, mine is only Warlords difficulty game.

I used nukes on a civ without sending troops.

A game i was playing was really peacefull then american invaded near the end and razed one of my cities before i could fight them off.

Because they looked to be about to win the space race i dropped nukes on 3 of his biggest cities to slow him down as he was on another continent and i could not get there easily. It worked but then Ghandi ended up winning the space race...

But i have never ever seen the AI use nukes. EVER!! I think i need to ramp up the difficulty. Also nukes were soon banned after i had dropped 3 which was funny, caus if he had built them he could never have fired back.

Yeah he could. Nuclear non-proliferation means ceasing production of nukes. Doesn't do anything to affect the existing stockpiles people may have.
