Iceland and the tundra

Rhye's earth map has 3 hills, 2 forests, 1 mountain, and 1 volcano in iceland. No tundra on that map :) . Edit: It is here . And welcome to CFC.

Intersting that you began your long journyey at CFC here with a thread on Iceland on world maps. Welcome to CFC.

Playing on Rhye's map, I never noticed that Iceland existed... :hmm:

Since I'm started talking about Iceland, does anyone know if there is a map available of iceland for conquests?
doesn't it come as a CicContent scenerio (if you have PTW)

What type of terrain would you suggest for Iceland? Just curious.

I think your definition of tundra may be too limited. Tundra can be applied to any plant community dominated by herbaceous plants (particularly grasses and sedges) where the limiting factor suppressing tree growth is a short, cool growing season, rather than drought.

Well, I would use plains or grassland instead of tundra. I thought that the definition of tundra was a area where the ground was frozen solid all year round except for few meters/feet in the top soil. Anyways, there is almost no such area in Iceland.
