Thnaks RedAlert, now that its described, thats what my island is going to look like.

Just making sure, we aren't using a world map right, 'cause if we are, I call dibs on Scandinavia (obviously) :).

As for an actual description of my civ...

The UNC (United Norse Commune) is composed of the formerly factioned Scandinavian countries... These countries, before the Yeting Union (as it is also know), were riddled with corruption, civil strife, and economic turmoil. During the pan-Viking war (civil war between the Danish, Swedish, and Norman Vikings) though, a new leader convinced a large number of disordered, raiding Vikings and swept the battlefeild clean of any opposition, slaughtering all that stood in his way (thus, earning the title "Great Bloodspiller" or "Stort Blodtomere" as it is said in Norwegian -Yeting was both Sedish and Norwegian)...

After that, the new Viking empire raided much of Europe, until the advent of Christianity, where the became more passive (but retainded the Viking Pagan beleifs of their ancestors)... The Viking empire officially addopted Communism as its government in 1958, and became a very industrial and scientific state, trusting in scientific advancements to keep their military one of the best in the world.

The citizens currently enjoy a nearly un-stratified society, and live in an almost completely stable (economically and socially) setting. Prior to their industrialization and their modernization, the Vikings lived prosperously, with little crime and corruption (mostly due to the nature of Yeting's rule... Previous "Iron-fisted" rulers looked like clay-fisted rulers in comparison; crime was, in no way, tolerated). They were mostly a farming society, family based, with a great interest in education.

The Neo-Vikings now look down on dogmatic societies, and express great (*ahem* nearly psychotic) hostility toward fundamental and fascist societies...

If we are using a real map, I want florida and the small islands in the carribean, as well as eastern Mexico.

We will be doing a real world map version too, probably. It seems popular anyway. So,

everybody, stake your claim, i'll record!

*This will come after the fantasy map, though.*

That's about it for my Neo-Vikings... If your guys need anything else, just ask 9or PM). I'll probably be here... Staring at the dancing bananas; that could very well be the silliest thing I have ever seen .

Just in case you didn't see, I CALL DIBS ON SCANDINAVIA! :D

If we are going to edit the diplomacy text, I could tack a stab at it. I have a diplo editor on my comp, but I only have PTW... After they add all the civs to the mod, you guys could send it to me, and I could try. I would need everyone to post some basic replies for stuff (all would be nice, but that's a lot of replies)...

BTW: Will this mod be coming out for PTW also, 'cause if not, I wouldn't be able to play .

Oops! double post
see below post.

to make some use of this post, I give you:

:ar15:    :whipped:

I don't even know what all the diplo text things are... can you list them for us?

It wouldn't let me copy and paste them from the editor, so I took a screenshot and edited it...

Apparently, to completely fill every possible resonse condition, we'd all need to post a wopping 27 replies for each of the below. That's 3 base categories for strength (you -as the AI- are stronger than the user, the user and you are equal, and you are weaker than the user), a sub category for current relations (you and the user like each other, you're neutral, you hate each other), then the actual replies (3 for each sub category, and three sub categories per str category, all for one civ)... There are 59 response subjects, each containing 27 replies tops, that's... 1593 per civ tops... Obviously unrealistic.

However, if we went with 3 per response subject, we'd have a 177 a peice to come up with; if we only went with one... Well, obviously, it'd then be 59. I think the min is the best choice, at least for now... Also, 59 responses times 31 civs is 1829... Times the current number of people signed up for this would be... 1121 I think. If nothing else, it'd take me a while, but it'd be better to divide the civs up between me and someone else, if they wanted to help...

EDIT: Though most of these seem self-explanitory, if anyone needs a description, just ask. Also, just for kicks, I figured how many we'd need total if we completely maxed all civ responses: 49,383 ... For all 31 civs. For 19: 30,267...

So if we are gonna do this, everyone would post one reply to each of the below, and I would edit them and put them in (unless someone wanted to help out ;) )

I think we should make a version for PTW, but it will probably only be after the conquests version.

btw, you should get Conquests, it's good

edit: odintheking, while you're here, could you tell me what part of the world you claim for your nation for the real world map?
