Why would Unique resources be in any use?

not hard to figure...unique civs, unique units, unique improvements & unique wonders...

why not? extra commerce, happiness or food isn't so bad.

i would consider "tomatoes" to be a unique resource for Los Justos.

have you ever seen or eaten a jersey tomatoe? they are award winning

- for the fantasy map: We need more nations in the southern hemisphere (and I guess a couple more in the eastern hemisphere wouldn't hurt)

Well, since the Seiryu Kingdom is Far Eastern, I should be in the Eastern hemisphere. If you want, you can put the capital (northern region of the country) on the equator, with the rest of the country/continent below the equator, just to balance the N/S thing out. I'll post a map/minimap preview later. Right now my graphics/gameing computer is occupied with rendering the death animation for my Red Wing unit. I should have the unit (and the map preview) compeletely done within the next 3 hours.

Edit: make Pounder's terrace farms my unique resource. The Seiryu kingdom, with the exception of the 1 tile's worth of floodplains along the Choukou (Hwang Ho) River is pretty darn rugged, consisting of lots of hill, mountain, and plains tiles, so it'd pretty much necessary in order for my civ to have cities with more than 3 population in my starting area. Again, I'll have the Civ editor map (as opposed to the drawing on my website) available once the Red Wing variant of my steam airship is done.

These are the diplo responses the AI gives (i.e. you if you want specific responses). These are all from your perspective (e.g. "accepting offer" would be you -as the AI- accepting a a deal from a player actually using the mod)...

If you want a specific response, just post it here, and what it should replace/the number of the of the normal response/a general usage for the response...

whew...that's alot but i would like custom text in my diplomacy. i shall play with it some i s'pose.

Zip compression/uncompression is built into the operating system, which is the reason why you can't find it.
