hello

just : The power of Culture

Each city has the library and theater free.
or
Each wonder add +2 :culture:

so,

Yeah, the current one is more creative and helpful for trying to open borders with eastern civs. In general, I like it more. No offense, but I just don't think the "Power of Culture" would go well with Rhye. Maybe you should post minor changes like this in the "Minor Suggestions" thread in the future. Thanks. :)

I like the current one, it makes diplomacy interesting with faraway civs - unlike when we play as someone like England, say - and all the far away civs don't want to talk to you.

I'm french too and i just don't like it.
France have been a LOT of time at war against all europa. A lot of country always hated them, i think the only one who liked them was the hurons maybe and the alconguins(they are indians tribes). Their actual unique power is just completely unhistorical!

and today is the same thing. I play empire total war and the next extension is called "napoléon". In the international forum(like total war center), we can see that there is a big hatred against the french!

yeah, france is liked only by native tribu like india or apache ... but it was in war with a lot of colonial power (england, russia...)
thank

I do agree, France has fought against just about everyone except Sweden at some point, even without counting Napoleon's time. This is a very interesting unique power though and I don't really have a problem with it despite its slight inaccuracy.

what about Romania ;)

what about Romania ;)

They didn't fight everyone, but they did fight "just about" everyone. Meaning they were pretty close to it.

Not quite. The Swedes were part of the Fourth Coalition against Napoleonic France

I tried not to include Napoleonic France. I added at the end that all of that was without even using Napoleonic era, as almost all of Europe was at war with France at a single time here, which is slightly unfair when judging the historical accuracy of them having a Detente UP.

It's far too late for any change, but I always thought of the power of Revolution (like 5 free units when revolution is triggered)

Yes good and realistic idea, but it's dangerous, a player can choose to enter in revolution every time in order to have a lot of units!

With all the instability I doubt it'll do good.

So which part of "the diplomatic bonus doesn't apply to European civs" didn't you get? Don't be afraid to ask, I'm here to help.

Sorry, I didn't just mean you - but someone early on pointed out Euro civs aren't affected and yet two or three people just carried on as if nothing was said :/

There's only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures....

....and the Dutch.
