Hi,
As probably many before me, I post an idea for a scenario in the hope that somebody will pick it up, since I don't know python and don't know how to write scenarios.
I really enjoy in Colonization that there's this big fight at the end (you vs. the European leader). Something similar would be nice for Civ. Here's the story:
At 2000BC, you get a great prophet who forsees that sometime in 19xx there will be an alien invasion on Earth. The aliens arrive at a random point in time and every civilization is asked to either be for or against the aliens. After that it's basically an aligned world vs aliens (a fog of war that simply spits out ships with alien units), and their allies.
The nice thing is that the other leaders (AI) don't know about this and may spend resources in an early fight instead of stocking up for the alien invasion.
What do you think?
