I was mopping up my current game when I became obsessed with taking over every wonder in the game, well at least every great wonder...

This led me to the following thought, how would a game where the victory condition was a 20k cultural win in a city that has every existing greater wonder built play out?

The rules I came up with were...
20k cultural victory (all other options open to the AI though)
After you build your 1st settler he must settle on a coast, and that city must be named 'Wonders Only' and, you guessed it, always have a wonder being built when one is available, that means that if you want to build Aquducts, Factories, ... you have to find a window when there are no available Wonders for you to build, and should one become available you have to switch to it immediately.
Any GWs built by the AI must be razed before you win.
No other city in your empire can ever have a GW being built.

As such on the turn you hit 20k you must be the sole posseser of all existing GWs, and they must all be in one city.

Some alternate rules are: no cultural buildings can be built in your GW city other than wonders. All SWs must also be built in that city. As soon as another Civ has a completed GW you must stop trade with them (potentially declare war on them, but that could be too restricting).

I think this would be possible to pull off, heck maybe some of you have already tried/done this. I'm leaving the map settings open, as they would obviously contribute greatly to the difficulty of such a feat.

Some initial thoughts...

Militeristic Civs are definately easier, as GL rushing is going to be key. For a 2nd trait... I'm not sure, scientific seems nice, but you may wind up getting more GWs available more quickly than you want. Industrious is probably better to get more production more quickly out of your GW city.

Since its going to be pretty much impossible to actually sweep all the GWs (unless you only have 1 opponent maybe) you're going to have to go to war eventually, hitting targets early is generally easier than later, especially if they are on a different continent. So agressive thinking is good, being a builder is probably not going to work very well.

I have a game where i have build all wonders... After that i moved up a level :)

Ups missed that one, sorry :( but i have once seen the Ai do it in a game where i didn't go for wonders because i was in war the whole game :)

Hmmm. Too hard for me. Im still n00bish. but soon my skillz will go l33t.
