Choose a them song that fits your life so far, or at the moment. It can be the music that goes with your lifestyle, or a song with a lyric that more or less describes you, or both. Tell us wich song and why it fits you.

Some suggestions

The Indiana Jones Theme :whipped:

Joan Jet - I Love Rock'n Roll

Beck - Loser :suicide:

Reverend Horton Heat - Liquor, Beer & Wine

As for me? Hmm...I don't know, but some girls swear they can hear the Hallelujah chorus from Händel's Messiah when I enter a pub.

The Imperial March - John Williams

&

Savin' Me - Nickleback (Whenever I feel down)

Isolated-Chiasm

Far Away-Nickleback

Fly Away-F.I.R

Heaven's A Lie-Lacuna Coil

Before I'm dead-Kidney Thieves

Allways look on the bright side of life.

I'm a Rockstar - Bizarre

or

Big Machine by Velvet Revolver

those seem to be good for my life style.

Do-dee-dum-du-me-rah-lah-beep-beep-beep-ro-deo-do-do-lahlah-weheeep!

Something on those lines.. See The Emporours New Groove for guidance...

Dead Kennedys--Let's Lynch the Landlord

edit: my rent has just gone up, my apartment is falling apart and the bins for all the neighbours have been moved into our garage.

The Man Who Sold The World

We passed upon the stair
We spoke of was and when
Although I wasn't there
He said I was his friend
Which came as a surprise
I spoke into his eyes
I thought you died alone
A long long time ago

Oh no, not me
We never lost control
You're face to face
With The Man Who Sold The World

I laughed and shook his hand
And made my way back home
I searched for form and land
For years and years I roamed
I gazed a gazeless stare
At all the millions here
I must have died alone
A long, long time ago

Oh no, not me
We never lost control
You're face to face
With The Man Who Sold The World
When I was young(er) I had a lot of idealistic ideas about the world and where I wanted to take my life. As it is now, things have not really gone as I expected. Allthough I still like the young lad and a part of him is still present in me, I have to concede to reality and be aware I can't be that guy.

I sold the world (hopes and expectations), but don't worry, I've found a new one (reality).

I wrote my own theme song. I call it "The Acid Driver", which is an anagram of my name. It's an instrumental number that was oringially a funky 70s soudning theme, but has evolved into an acid jazz meets spy theme kind of thing.

Windmills of your mind by Noel Harrison

go on, look it up.

Or maybe Another brick in the wall by Pink Floyd

They went to my school and had the same teacher. He taught the same attitude to life.

I hope you weren't thinking about taking your life as much as moving it in a certain direction... ;)
Anyway I think it's a universal problem that comes with age/experience. Sometimes it's good, but we should not stop trying to make our dreams come true just because we get older. In the words of mr B. Springsteen; "mr, I ain't a boy, No I'm a man and I believe in the Promised land".

Since I already mentioned Bruce Springsteen...

A couple of years ago, I was temporarily living in an apartment in an area I wasn't very fond of. Just about nothing was going on in my life at that time and I realized that "Dancing In the Dark" was an exact description of my life right then. My life's theme at that point.

Spoiler :
I get up in the evening, and I ain't got nothing to say
I come home in the morning, I go to bed feeling the same way
I'm nothing but tired, man I'm just tired and bored with myself
Hey there baby, I could use just a little help

Can't start a fire, can't start a fire without a spark
these guns for hire, even if we're just dancing in the dark...

I was thinking how the heck did he get that out of my story? But then noticed "where I wanted to take my life". It does sound like I am looking for a nice location to put a bullet in my head. Direction it is ;)

Carpe Diem - Metallica
Has alot of one liners inside the song that represent philosophies of my own in life.

Bleeding me - Metallica
How I view society's current role on my life. And my own problems I create in it.

Show me how to live - Audioslave
My religious fervor.

Human - Metallica
A great song about mortality.

Be yourself - Audioslave
This would probably be the title song to the soundtrack. With the one truth I know about life as the chorus. "Be yourself is all that you can do."

There would no doubt also have some Disturbed in there on alot of different areas. Some Korn and Godsmack playing in my years between 15-21. The ones above are the main songs that would play alot though. I would totally buy my soundtrack.
