I have tried to use this feature a number of times but does not work for me. If someone could post a sample of the actual coding and format it would be great.

thanks

Note, I've done some funny things with the formatting to make it look correct in the post. But if you copy the way it *looks*, and not the actual code I used, it should work fine. ;)

You put the img tags around the url of where your image is.

[img]URL of site[/img]

I'll add some other notes to make this post more useful since Padma covered the use already.

Try to have it where your filename has no spaces in it. note in Padma's example, he uses the _ instead of spaces. Also, the file extention type (.jpg) should usally be lowercase.

If you have an specific problems let us know. :)

Thanks

Im still having trouble I'll post a picture the IMG tags are now going were their supposed to be they're wrapping around so they're on top and bottom of the url I'll show

Ok i'll try that

As I have just discovered the filename for the image cannot contain brackets "(" or ")".

Not that this was your problem but good to know.

Make sure there's no spaces between the
IMG] tags. Otherwise, it won't show.

I suppose mouse-over effects are out of the question? Would be misused the moment it became available, but for notes written into maps and such it would be quite handy.

ok, if I've got files on my harddrive, I need to upload them to CFC first, but how?

thx, oops, could have found it myself
