Hi all, first time poster here so I will provide some sort of intro, I have played civ 4 since I was 6 years old when it first came out and then played a bunch of MMOs and came back to civ 4 again this year in april when I took an ancient civs course in university. As a child I didn't really take the game seriously and just spammed the mongols and keshik rushed everyone and thought longbows were the best unit ever when my tank died to one. (Listen I was only 6)

I came back and started on warlord to get my ass kicked by the AI with cannons and cavalry while i had tanks yes how sad. So I started watching Lain and Absolute zero and slowly climbed my way to deity and developed somewhat of my own playstyle.

After months of practise I got comfortable on immortal and have just begun beating deity and decided to record my games and make some lets plays, you can find my youtube channel with a few games posted though admittedly I am not professional yet and only win a small portion of deity attempts.

I am a bit sick of making custom games and regenerating until I get a decent start, I was wondering if some people wanted to share some good games I can download and play for fun. I'm either looking for a hard immortal game, or a fairly doable deity game as I am somewhere in between and obviously the jump is huge. I prefer to play on Pangaea type maps, inland sea, lakes and terra are ok as well, continent maps are too much effort, although I don't mind them on immortal.

My strengths and weaknesses?
I do well in the early game and well in the late game once I get to industrial period, medieval era and renaissence are a little bit scuffed because sometimes I'm at war or suffering from maintences or just don't have enough commerce to tech fast. I have pulled off a 720AD Rifling before on deity but usually I am just starting to research cuirassiers at this period. I tend to utilize the spiritual, organized and creative leaders the most, and admittedly still need to work on GPs and bulbing and the philosopical trait etc. Industrious is very strong but I don't often build a lot of wonders except maybe a few key ones, though I might want to learn to utilize it more for fail gold. I do build the national and heroic epic in several cities to get free money if I have marble.

A link to my youtube channel where I post my civ games, mostly on immortal and deity difficulty. If there is any leader you want me to play and upload please let me know! Also feel free to comment and give any tips or info to existing games.

Have you thought about maybe trying some of the maps posted in Lain's thread. These are challenging and it would be interesting to see how you approach them.
