Kharid Dajin Al-Muhammed was an Egyptian born miner with an exceptional mind. But, when he was Elephantine looking for new work, he began preaching his democratic ideals. Only to be arrested, however, he escaped. Now an Egyptian turncoat, he went to Arkan and was immediately recognized as an exceptional military man. So, he became a drill Sergent, and has been doing amazing.



Mao has now another reason to disklike us.



It also seems that the Hindu faith is growing in its distaste for us. \

Although I did not get a screenshot, I noticed that there is a massive military force in Thebes. This is a sign for an upcoming invasion, so I tried to up the defenses.

There was another revolt that was, once again thwarted. This is not giving us any good signs.



We are now the Seccond largest nation on the planet.



We were also given the Best Defense Quest.



Gunpowder is a dangerous tool, one that has not been seen, nor tested in combat. Now, with the Egyptian Army mustering its forces, I say we strike now, and we have a massive invasion force outside of Arkan ready to take Elepahntine!

OK got a chance to look over the save and you have done a respectful job Vandal. The House of Octavia grants tribute to the Empress. However there is much to be discussed before the next TS.

The Bill of Rights needed a 3/4 majority vote to pass and both Huber and Octavia voted No. For now the citizens of Artonia shall remain servants to the crown and its Hereditary Rule. Does the House of Huber give tribute to the beautiful Adeladie?

Officially, with your vote, it was a dead 2-2 tie so, the Rights are not passed. I would also like to make some more appointments.

As Pro-Consul to the Empire I officially open the 10th legislative session. I now give the council of lords the apportunity to raise their concerns or to introduce new legislation.

'Greetings everyone, I am Lord Ramsusen, governor of Draknith. I would like to raise to the assembly a motion whereby we as a nation would work to re-build our relationships with our friends on our home continent (we should really name this stuff...). Also, I think we should start developing plans against our neighbors to the West as they are the real enemy.'

'I Lord Marshal, Head of the House of Huber, and General of the Imperial Armies request that this body pass a motion striking down any future attempts of the crown to force the Royal Houses to adhere to 'Common Law'. Defense also needs to be a priority for the Northern Realm, where cities are being left by the wayside. The 'Defense Standardization Act' set in place by Regent David of Huber in 470 BC should still be enforced, as it has not been outruled by any Emperor thus far.'

Her Imperial Highness, Adelaide Vahalax, hereby abdicates in favor of her eldest so, the Crown Prince Sean. She will retain the title Queen Mother, and will live within the palace. All hail Empreor Sean I.

I would also like to suggest that we name some of our geographical features to help us with relative locations.

The Lord from the city of Dankis would like to ammend the motion on the floor:

Imperial Authority Act-
The Imperial Highness shall not adhere to any laws that brings them to the level of the common people. The Imperial Majesty has absolute authority.

I would like the Act to read as follows:

The Empire is to be considered the Sovergn Entity of the Emperor, and the Houses the Sovergn Entity of the Lords of those Houses, and the Council of Lords the Sovergn Entity of the Pro-Consul.

No judgement may be brought against a Royal Family member by a commoner in response to actions against a commoner. Only the Emperor may bring judgement against such an offense.

Any commoner found to be involved in acts against the Empire are subject to the sovergn laws of the accusing House.

We also request that the Pro-Consul retain his function as leader of this legislative body and that no motion is to be put forth to the Emperor until this body has confirmed the motion into an 'Act' whereby the Emperor may then institute the 'Act' into 'Law'. (OCC: In other words, the Emperor should not act into law anything until after the session of Council is completed.)

We would also like the assembly to pass a motion that would demand the Emperor denounce the actions of the former Empress. We request the House of Reichkaiser apologize for the civil war our great land has been forced to endure. And We request that the Emperor disband the private military force created by the Empress for the sole use of enforcement of her laws against the Royal Houses.

OCC: Vandal just have one of your other 'Lords' make some motions or amendments. That way you can still get involved in the Council of Lords, and you won't have to worry about being an interfering Emperor.

I can agree that the Emperor must wait until the session is closed before making an Act into law. The council must be given time to discuss the proposal. However in the end the Emperor/Empress has ultimate authority and should not be excluded from the discussion.

I propose the city of Octavia be granted Al-Kindi (Great Scientist born in Civius) to help in the construction of a Research Academy. Octavia has the highest research rate of any city that does not have an Academy.

The House of Octavia agrees that the Empire should increase military strength. Passage of the Tech Trade Act will also allow the Imperial Navy to begin building Galleon Ships. This will help protect our shores and fishing grounds from foreign threats.

Octavian Governors' Summary (Summary is based on passage of the Tech Trade Act)
City of Civius- Reassign Scientists to working production, including the Iron Mines currently in the Fua BFC, and construct a University (10 turns) starting this turn. Once the University of Civius is completed assign the citizens back to Scientists Specialists once again and return the Iron Mine to Fuas' BFC.
City of Octavia- Finish building a few Muskets then begin constructing either a Galleon or a University.
City of Airon- Send worker ASAP, clear jungle and improve the eastern province. I recommend mining the hill and farming the river grassland.
Mound City- lord Percival could not attend the meeting, an Octavian Cavalry unit was being honored in the city of Octavia for uprooting an espionage mission.

The Emperor Sean refuses the disandment of the Arkan Guard or New Rozsudek Regiments. It has come to my attention that the House of Huber has also commanded its own military force. And I shall never denounce my mother, no matter how much I disagreed with her. Her abdication was for the good of the nation.
