In game tutorial

Is there any way of saving your progress within the in game tutorial? I saved at a certain point. When I go to load the save, the game gives me 1 more move before it says ceasar won. No signs of the tutorial continuing. Am I missing something?

Had you already met Gandhi when it did that? I don't think the tutorial actually places Gandhi until it tells you that you can go meet him. The scripting could be broken by the save game.
