In-house PBEM with one CD?

If I wanted to play a one-house Civ 3 PBEM game with family members, could we do it with one CD? Or would we need one for each player?

I guess you play on different computers. Then I am pretty sure you need to pass the CD from one player to the next as you pass along the save.
More complicated than to have the CD in just one machine but definitely cheaper than to have to buy a new CD.

i play multiplayer LAN games on 3 computers in one house and we just keep one cd in. Once you get to the main menu you can take the cd out and it doesn't affect the game . then you put it in another computer and wait till they get to the main menu.
