This is just to honor a big Comedian ,whom sadly died to soon.He eliviated stupid jokes with atleast 9 levels.

Father Ted ,i miss you.

Welcome to the first in a series of erm, one in the duke's course looking at English idiomatic language.

Gobshite: Offensive term for someone who talks rubbish. From: Gob, meaning mouth, and shite, meaning - use your imagination. Has acquired a more general abusive status, rather than as just someone who talks cack. I mean, f*ckwit doesn't mean someone who goes around trying to have intercourse with exceptionally clever and funny people.

Later on: I hoep that those fans of Father Ted have been watching the Brass Eye repeats on Channel 4. Chris Morris is a genius, and is ably supported by Linehan and Matthews, creators of......... yes!
