Incan Civil War Scenario

I think the eagle warrior can't pass by incan because the incan didn't had that kind of animal worshiping. except for the Llama.
nor the jaguar warrior could pass by incan.

You definately know more about the Incans than I, so okay, Eagle Warrior scrapped. I was never considering the Jaguar Warrior, as it is obviously Aztec (it has Jaguar in it's name).

@Gunner: Thanks. I'm puting you on the team roster, BTW. Okay, the Eagle Warrior, is well, Aztec, as is the Musketman. The last one, hmm, maybe, but it seems to have too much metal. The Inti Warrior, etc. thraed is good. I forgot about that part of the thread. Maybe the jagaur thrower? How's it sound/look Bóreas? Also, how about that Meso-American Warrior? It looks sort of generic, is there any reason it can't be Incan (except the name)?

IMO we should use all the flavor units we can, jsut because i feel that using an Eagle Warrior would be better than using the traditional spearman which looks nothing like Incan

That's true. If I include a spearman, it will be the Eagle Warrior, as it is definately more Incan than the Civ3 spearman (even if not completely Incan).

the javelin thrower?
about the musketman...
We're dealing with a timeline about 1438 to 1538, so i'd say the musketman is more of a "what if" unit. The incans went overboard before the musketman became popular at europe.
I still like the idea of the musketman shooting of incan laborers with his weapon.

for defensive incan units, a good idea would be the royal guard of the sapa-inca. I just don't know what is called.

i agree about the musketman, i jsut put what ever mesoamerican units i found in there, so that Gogf could make the decsion, the jaguar warrior is a definite no im my opinion, unless we use him for a barbarian unit or somesort of Incan Rebel unit

also gogf if u took a look at the link with the proposed line up for Incan units u probably saw the unit that i replaced the warrior i think, that would be a good unit if we could only find it

the thing is that the aztec, mayan units are very different from the south american tribes units, and culture. So i don't think it pays off to put them there.

Here is some ideas for the scenario
resources: Potato, tomato, peanut and cotton
wonders: Sacasahuman( a fortress built out of square stones)
Macchu Picchu( have someone done it already?)
Spanish General: Fransisco Pizarro
and i do think that the musketman is a good option now that i've realized that were guns who killed the inca

I don't really think it would be a good idea to use cotton. The europeans brought them from africa to america, so at the time of the Incan civil war there was none in america.

Cotton was a natural crop by the time spain got to the incan territory. Besides cotton can grow nearly anywhere.

It can grow, but that doesn't mean much. For example, in a Middle Ages Europe scenario, potatos can be planted in Europe, but you wouldn't put them in the scenario because they simply didn't exist in Europe at that time.

But perhaps you are right in your first statement.
