Does anyone else find the Indian background music creepy? It's like the dramatic music from a slasher movie!
Anytime I contact Gandhi during the game I make sure my German Shepherd is in the room . . just in case!

So that's why it sounds so familiar. Peace, man. Pass the bong, willya?
Aaauuugh! I'm betraying my age with this. :D

India had a large island to themselves. My Greeks had to eliminate the Carthaginians, Byzantines and Romans before I could launch a trans-oceanic attack with enough units to subdue the Indians.
it's still creepy music!

I guess it is kinda creepy. But I kind of like it. But the music you are talking is used for all asian civs! China, Japan, Korea, Mongols, and India.

I know the Oriental Music in the middle ages is the same melody as the Oriental song in CIV II, just can't remember what it was called... You could select the music from the menu (a pretty much useless feature) and the songs I can remember were Gautama Ponders (Indians) Tenochtitlan Revealed (Aztecs) Hammurabi's Code (Babylonians) Aristotle's Pupil (Greeks) Ode to Joy (Victory) Funeral March (Defeat) There were a few more. one for the Romans, one for the Chinese, and one for the Egyptians. It's been so long since I've played it.
