This is even better than a lot of the novels I have read, you are my favorite author now, This is the first story I've read here at CFC, I just hope all of em are this good. BTW, where can I get those city graphics, they're bada...

How do you put them in-game?

You have to go to your C:\Infogrames\Civilization III\Art\Cities folder and backup all the old files. Then just installl the new graphics into the same folder and click "Yes to All" when WinZip/WinAce asks you if you want to replace all files.

Like T-Money detailed, it's easy to change graphics. The zip file normally comes with a readme.txt file and it should also have installation instructions. Be sure to backup the old files you're replacing in case you want to go back to the old graphics.

Man, this story is good. I read it again today. I gotta say, these stories written by people on Monarch-plus levels have really helped me improve my game at that level, especially this one. Among hundreds of other small details, I never before knew the importance of using artillery. Now I'm winning conquest almost every time on Regent, domination quite easily on Monarch, end even one once on Emperor witha Domination (although that was mostly luck). I just want to thank everybody who writes these stories, because apart from being quite good reading material, they help out relatively new players like me who needed a push to get beyond Regent.
