Infinite Bomber Range

I have heard and tried that if one holds down the bombard key (b) than you can bomb anywhere. But at least in my experience it never actually does any demage.

Firstly does it actually do any damage.

Secondly will this be fixed in the next patch.

I belive this was a bug fixed in the first patch (infinite bombing range for all air units)
