I'm currently on GMT. Will be moving to GMT+8 in the middle of the month. Then will remain at GMT+8 most of the time.

I was just on CNN.com and saw the time for EDT and GMT, and it looks like GMT doesn't change their clocks for Daylight Savings Time (like we do). So that messes things up a bit... (Probably why some were coming an hour later to the turn chat...).

I thought 6:59 EDT was 23:59 GMT, but now it looks like 6:59 EDT is 22:59 GMT...

ummm sory to say Chieftess but daylight savings is from October 31st to March 31st i think (but maybe yours is different in the US) since im an AUSSIE!!

Technically GMT doesn't use daylight savings. The local time systems used DO use daylight savings. So, in effect, British time is GMT+1 during the summer.
