Installation Question

So when I (finally)get C3C, should I uninstall PTW, or just leave it be? I'm curious to know what people have done, and what's happened because of it.

If you uninstall PtW, you lose the PtW only stuff (the terrains and fan scenarios).

I installed Conquests over PtW.

If you choose to uninstall PtW, do it before installing Conquests.

I installed Conquests over PTW. So, I have all the great PTW scenarios available if I want to play them.

The only draw back to doing it this way I have found is you have to have the PTW disc in the drive to play PTW.

I also seem to have a problem loading the Rise of Rome scenario; but I have not checked this out yet. It gives me a missing Legionary file error on loading.

small note: in case you'd de/re-install civ3 and then spare the PTW installation, make sure to patch to 1.29 before you install C3C.

Well, I was going to leave VC3 as is, and un-install PTW. Install C3C, and then reinstall the user scenarios for PTW. I'll probably still play the odd DyP game (Until RnR comes out) and PBEMs.

So you don't need the PTW disk in the drive if it's installed with Conquests? I thought it would be that way. . .
